BAYCAT InFocus: A Forum For Diverse Storytellers

Wednesday 7.19 • 5:30-8:30 PM PT • Chase Center Above the Rim

What is the future of the creative media industry in the Bay Area?

The second annual InFocus: An Open Forum for Diverse Storytellers returns for an evening of community building and ideas exchange. Connect with talented BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, non-binary, and cisgender women media makers at all stages of their careers, from emerging creatives to established industry leaders.

Enjoy small bites and beverages while hearing from like-minded creatives and having meaningful, facilitated conversations about the industry’s latest trends and most pressing issues. From topics like AI technology to representation, be part of the conversation to shape the future of the Bay’s creative media industry!

The event gives:

  • Emerging creatives a chance to showcase their talent and build a creative community to sustain them through their career

  • Creatives of all experience levels across the media industry a chance to talk about the current and future landscape of the industry and find collaborative partners for projects

If you are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, join us for an evening of panelists, guided networking, and facilitated conversations to discuss the future of the media industry.

I’ll be leading the Community Conversations portion of the evening. Get ready to make new friends by discovering our shared experiences and common connections.
